In the context of a Visual Anthropology course, I have come home to Oleron Island in order to spent a few days at Le Vidéo Club de Saint Georges d'Oléron.

 

Both of my grandfathers attend it, on the maternal and paternal side, and I thought it would be highly enriching to view this peculiar association of gentlemen through the lens of the university supplied camera I've borrowed for the occasion.

These few days have resulted in a 12 minute long short documentary, where the members of the club explain to us why they joined, what the club means to them and the intricacies and foundations of the friendships they built within its walls.
